Love It Or Leave It Baby!

Life is good……. Seriously though. Ang’s mom came out last Wednesday, and then left Friday. On Saturday, her mom and dad both came out, which is very, very rare. They are both awesome people, her dad is not much of a family type in any sense of the word, so it was surprising to find out he actually took Saturday off to come and see us! He is the president (and soon to be owner) of a manufacturing company in Ohio, they do military contracts, for helicopter and missile engine parts. Cool stuff. Anyways, we were very happy that they BOTH came out, and it was a lot of fun. They brought a dvd over that we watched Saturday night after the kiddos went to beddybytime, and the move was very……………ummm…….SUCKED BIG TIME!!!!! It is called “Open Water”, and the premise is that this couple goes on their honeymoon, and goes snorkeling off some coral reef. While down snorkeling, the rest of the group came up and went back on the boat at the predetermined time, and the couple got left behind. Somehow the people on the boat thought everyone was there, and the couple was still below at the bottom, and the boat left! The couple rises up to leave, and nobody is there, just open water. (Hence the title of the suckfest). The movie is ULTRA boring, dull, and all fluff. A lot of silence, staring at the clouds, just SNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOZEville. The couple dies from sharks and stuff. The End. The worst movie I have seen in a long time. Angi hated it also. Just as the credits were rolling (FINALLY!!!!), her dad says “Lets look at the bonus features!”. Ugh. Alright, (sigh), let’s do that. So we stroll through the deleted scenes, and the making of, and JUST SHOOT ME NOW!!!!! That was the only downer of the trip, a really, really, sucky, shitty, movie. The rest was fun. They shot some of the kids on their video camera, and played with them, and also took us out to eat on Saturday night, and Sunday morning. That was very nice of them. OH, Angi also got a 1,200 dollar sewing machine, from her mom and dad. To say that she is pleased is a dramatic understatement, she is syked up, and found a new hobby for which has it’s benefits, for instance, she is making the kids some blankets and clothes. She is also learning how to embroider, so that is cool also, she can make me some cool Yankee shirts, and Yankee shirts for the kiddos also (of course!). I also filed the stuff for our layoff, this is our last week. We get layoff pay, one half from GM, one half from the state. UAW. USA. Love them or leave them, baby!!!! Life is good.

I'll put that on my long list of movies I won't bother watching!

$1,200 for a sewing machine?? Does it make magaritaas too?

Glad you had a good visit with the in-laws. I should send you Jake's and my resumes to send to your pop-in-law... we're getting offers, but we want to live in OHIO!

Go Buckeyes!

Wow, that is expensive for a sewing machine. I would pay that much if it cut the material for me and did all the work. lol.

Glad you had a nice time with the in-laws. Grandpa should come out occasionally and see the grandkids, even if it isn't all the time. lol.
